Background | I’m a Southern California native and recent USC Annenberg grad living in Washington, DC. I currently work as a barista at a local coffee shop and a PR/Marketing Specialist at a public diplomacy center. I’m passionate about adventure, leading a balanced and healthy life, practicing gratitude, and continuous learning and growth.
Travel | My parents started taking me on international trips when I was just 10 years old, and I’ve had the travel bug pretty bad ever since. I take every opportunity that comes my way, and have now traveled to a total of 25 countries. I’ve recently discovered a passion for solo travel, sparked by several weekend trips and a 5-week backpacking trip through the Balkans while studying abroad in Europe.
My Posts | I love music, hiking, markets, walks, and coffee. Just a few years ago, I learned that I have an intolerance of gluten, dairy and soy, so I will provide tips for the allergen-conscious traveler.
Professional Goals | I have a keen interest in the developing world and am passionate about advocating for international human rights, specifically for refugees and other displaced peoples. I recently graduated with a BA in Public Relations from the USC Annenberg School with an emphasis on international advocacy, and have interned for organizations ranging from Street Sense to the U.S. Department of State. See my portfolio for samples of my work.
